1. Provision of Services
1.1 While the Company endeavours to ensure that this website is normally available 24 hours a day, the Company will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. 1.2 Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the Company’s control.
2. Data Protection
You consent to the collection and use of your Registration Data and certain other information in accordance with our Privacy Policy located at . 3. Intellectual Property Rights / Copyright
3.1 “Intellectual Property Rights” means patents, trademarks, logos, design rights, copyright, database rights, domain names, trade names, moral rights, and other similar rights. 3.2 All rights reserved. Copyright in the material comprising this website is owned by or licensed to Location Routes Management Ltd or its subsidiaries, agents or partners. 3.3 Permission is given for personal use only. No other use is permitted without prior written consent. 3.4 The User indemnifies the Agent against all claims and costs arising from infringement of third-party Intellectual Property Rights, except where caused by the Agent’s own actions.
4. Warranties and Liability
4.1 Descriptions of Locations are provided with reasonable care but without detailed survey. Images may only represent part of the Location. 4.2 No warranty is given as to suitability or fitness for purpose. The User is responsible for inspecting the Location. 4.3 The User must acquire all necessary permissions and permits prior to any Shoot. 4.4 The Agent is not liable for loss or damage arising from incomplete or inaccurate Input Material supplied by the User.
5. Force Majeure
Location Routes shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, sabotage, embargo, strike, riot, war, terrorism, or acts of government.
6. Invoices, Payment and VAT
6.1 The User shall pay the Agent’s Standard Charges and any additional sums agreed or incurred due to User instructions or errors. 6.2 All charges are exclusive of VAT, which shall be payable at the applicable rate. 6.3 Charges must be paid in cleared funds prior to the first day of hire. 6.4 Training course cancellations within five days of commencement are non-refundable. 6.5 All Routes Library fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.
7. Representation & Commission
- Exclusive Representation: 20% commission on gross hire fees
- Non-Exclusive Representation: 25% commission
- Representation may be terminated with 30 days’ written notice
- Location Routes may decline or remove listings at its discretion
8. Referral Structure
- 10% Referral Fee is payable to verified scouts, crew, or partners
- Referrals must be declared via code or timestamped message at intake
- First timestamped referral takes precedence
- Referral fees are paid post-shoot, once Location Routes receives the Location Fee
9. Ownership & Entitlement
Owners must declare whether the asset is:
- Legally owned
- Managed by private landlord (with written permission)
- Managed by housing association or council (with written permission) Fee-splitting may apply for housing assets. Formal consent may be required.
10. Facilities & Access
Owners must declare the availability of:
- Toilets, green rooms, outdoor power
- Permission for indoor power
- Access restrictions (e.g. noise, shared spaces, time limits)
11. Hire Process & Consent
- Location Routes will notify Owners of hire requests
- Owners must respond within 2 working days
- Consent should not be unreasonably withheld
- Location Routes may accompany scouts or monitor shoots
12. Insurance & Damage
- All filming is covered by the Production Company’s public liability insurance (typically £5M)
- Location Routes is not liable unless negligent
- Temporary alterations require written consent
- Damage claims will be mediated by Location Routes
13. Marketing & Visibility
- Photos and descriptions may be used unless visibility restrictions are declared
- Owners are not publicly credited unless agreed
- Listings may appear on the Location Routes website, social media, and partner platforms
14. Confidentiality
All information exchanged between the Parties shall be treated as confidential unless otherwise agreed. This includes location details, client data, and operational processes. Confidentiality obligations survive termination.
15. Entire Agreement
This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes all prior discussions. No variation shall be effective unless agreed in writing.
16. Severability
If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Waiver
No failure or delay by either Party in exercising any right shall constitute a waiver of that right.
18. Assignment
The Owner may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under this agreement without prior written consent from Location Routes.

20. Definitions and Interpretation
In these Terms and Conditions:
- “Agent” or “We” means Location Routes Management Ltd or any appointed representative or associate
- “User” means the production company, individual, or third party who has agreed to pay for the library service, scouting, consultancy, or training, or who uses any services provided by the Agent
- “Routes Library” means the road, property, or land listed on the Location Routes website and made available for scouting or hire
- “Input Material” means documentation, data, or other materials—written or verbal—provided by the Agent to the User
- “Contract” means the agreement concluded between the Agent and the User for access to the Routes Library, training, or other services
- “Training” means any structured learning, coaching, or service provided to benefit the User, delivered either face-to-face or online
- “Shoot” means the use of a location by the Hirer for filming, photography, or related production activity
- “Party” means either the Agent or the User; “Parties” shall be interpreted accordingly
- “Fees” means the charges payable to the Agent by the User for the provision of services, excluding VAT
- “Services” means the services to be supplied to the User by the Agent under the Contract
- “VAT” means value added tax, as defined under UK law
- “Working Day” means any day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, bank holiday, or public holiday in England
