He made the leap to freelance in 2020 after a varied pre-film career spanning 20 years across multiple sectors, including complex streetworks planning for utilities and a role as Contacts Manager at Translux International (specialising in tech truck and production vehicle logistics).
A natural problem solver with a calm, practical approach, Stuart excels at finding solutions under pressure—whether coordinating street closures, managing complex brief or handling last-minute changes on set. His background gives him a unique perspective on logistics, compliance, and cross-departmental coordination.
He is passionate about mentoring and supporting new entrants, particularly those from underrepresented backgrounds and is committed to safe, inclusive production environments.
