Filming on Zebra Crossings

Filming at zebra or pelecan crossings are challenging. The main reason they are there is that there is no sufficient point to cross on a road. I have has personally this brief before on After Life Series 3 – we had to find one in a specific town – in this case Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. There are not many crossings that were not busy and art department did not want to “dress on in”. EL103 – Scotland Residentual Square

EL101 – Scottish High Street Slip Road

A period parade of shops within an historic Scotland town – this slip/service road could be a great location (with the nessecary traffic managment and permisions. The slip road is a dead end and one way for some of the stretch. Permissions from Film Edinburgh and Police Scotland. Don’t forget we can provide Traffic Management Services.

EL100 – Concrete Street Backdrop

A period concrete building which could be a fantastic backdrop on this dead-end road. With good access from the main road and potental rigging base in a council car park makes it serviceable. Sheridan Morley

  Sheridan’s first career was in fashion and features photography, shooting runway and editorial fashion, as well as portraits of A list actors and politicians, for national newspapers and magazines. She began her TV/Film career in 2022 as a BBC trainee Production Cordinator in Factual Entertainment and Events at BBC Studios, working on live events such as the Diamond Jubilee and the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. She has recently completed the Screenskills Trainee Finder programme for 2023/24 and has worked as a Location trainee on HETV Dramas: Miss Austen, Mr Loverman, Andor S2 and The Marlow Murder Club. This is a semi-quite road (one section is one-way) and very close to the centre of Glasgow. With a T-junction and a pedestrain area near some pubs – it could be a very good option for looking at controllable streets. Permissions from Glasgow Film Office and Police Scotland. GA102 – Gothic Bridge
